Well there's a whole new field to think about. The possibility of taking all your internet nonsense into the Great Beyond like an unwanted trail of fireworks...disastrous indeed.

I don't think it's possible to truly remove yourself from the internet... what protects you is that there are billions of others online as well, so you're always just a face in the crowd unless you do something to really stand out.

Yes indeed, if you are dead it doesn't really matter - though maybe better to delete your porn stash from your computer before your grand-kids inherit it.

LOL....I like that all the people that replied to this thread could actually care less about the topic. Add me to that list. Once I'm dead, what happens to whatever of me is left on the internet certainly won't matter to me. I'm spouse-less and child-less. I'll just let it be another meaningless addition to my "legacy".
