So how many of us dream? And what do you dream about? And one last question does anyone here keep a dream log?

I dream quite often even when I'm napping in the morning/afternoon/at night.

My dreams are often about: trying to do something but somehow not being able to do it - such as trying to make a phone call but keeping hitting the wrong keys. Very frustrating dreams; about heights and worrying about falling; about catching the (wrong) trains and never reaching the destination. Usually my dreams have a sad atmosphere.

I never even thought about logging my dreams.

I had an odd dream a few months ago that really stuck in my mind. I was walking on the sidewalk outside my house, and I was walking toward somewhere, but I didn't know where. A man and a woman in an old van pulled up next to me. They were sort of 'hippie' types :p . They offered me a ride to wherever I was going, so I got in the back and we drove down to a sort of wooded area I didn't recognize. I got out of the van and they stayed inside, and I walked over to the woods on the side of the road. There was a bit of a raised hill kind of things right at the entrance, so I climbed over that and made it through the brush and started walking around. I saw a hole in the ground, sort of like a snake hole, but big enough to crawl through, so I climbed down inside. The pathway in kind of sloped down and around, until it reached an opening in to sort of a cavern kind of thing. It was a weird shape, imagine something almost like an inverted doughnut, with a ring of space around, a pillar of rock that went from the bottom to the top. At the bottom of the cavern there was water, like a little pond that went around the whole thing. There was a big fish swimming around in circles in the pond, around the cave. I got in to the water and swam around trying to catch it but I couldn't. Then suddenly I had the sensation that something was chasing me, I don't know if it was the fish or what. So I was really scared and I crawled back out of the cave as fast as I could back out in to the woods, and there was a lot of sound, like things were rushing around really fast around my ears. I ran back to the van and got in, and the man and the woman seemed really startled, and we drove off. I have no idea why this dream in particular sticks out in my mind, but I can't stop thinking about it.

I don't keep a dream log but I have good dream recall. I rarely go to sleep without remembering at least one dream.

I have some surreal dreams with spirits and supernatural things in them. The supernatural dreams reflect one my lifelong obsessions and source of frustration. I dream of finally gaining the paranormal experiences I crave. I dream about gaining supernatural powers or being taught some kind of esoteric secret. These dreams persist even as I focus less on the obsession. It's not as important to me anymore but the dreams related to it keep coming every now and then.

I have dreams that take place in the city. I had one recent dream that took place in the city in which I was a sex worker and I went into someone's home. For some reason there were Simpsons characters in the dream.

I've had a few dreams in which I'm travelling South along the west side of the United States. The dreams in which I'm travelling south reflect the plan I've had to run away and take a train to British Collumbia and then travel on foot as far South as I can go. I'd want to cross the USA from the Canadian to the Mexican border on foot. That desire often manifests in my sleep. The most recent dream in which I was travelling South happened in the same night as the one in which I was a sex worker.

I used to keep a dream log, but my dreams became very intense so I stopped trying to recall them for more peace of mind. I tend to dream about strange scenery, like cities that defy the laws of physics, buildings where all the floors are ponds, and underground labyrinths.

I have very intense dreams and sometimes wake up thinking I am still in the dream world. Often times, my dreams involve events from my past or incorporate characters and/or events from my favourite books and movies.

There is this weird thing about faces. They melt and morph into other people over the course of the dream. Sometimes they have faces with no features.

I go through phases; for a few weeks I might have no dreams, then for a few weeks I might have a recurring nighmare, then lucid dreams, then maybe nightmares again, then dreams about flying...

For the last few weeks I've had dreams with false awakenings, but I've just started to have dreams about escaping from places, and they're unusually realistic and vivid.
