...all the time whether the food I am eating at that moment tastes good to me or not?

Is this another NT etiquette thing?

It has come to a point where I'd want the people who are sitting on my table to just stfu and stick tape over their mouths until I have finished my meal or even leave them on for the rest of the day.

It also sounds ret*d as f**k if you ask it everytime someone is starting a meal or even multiple times during a meal, there are 1000000000 better things to say when you're eating and it's best to say as little as possible because talking with a mouth full is very sensory wracking for an aspie/ADD-struck individual like me.

It's as bad as those "how are you?" "are you alright?" nannying type of questions, just use "what's up?" and stop being that wannabe empathetic person.
