This thread is about shoes, what you like about them, what your favorite types are to wear, you name it.
-----
I am partial to white athletic shoes; I feel like the shoes are a good complement to my athletic wear. Plus, white shoes make me look faster. I also like other-than-black colored shoes as well, like blue, green, those things. :)

I like easy comfortable ones. I usually wear green or brown.

My favorite pair of shoes are these soft mary janes with patches and buttons sewn onto them. I found them at a thrift store and have never found another pair like them. I love wearing them with knee-high socks (my favorite pairs being my rainbow-colored ones and my lawn gnome ones). I will be devastated when they eventually wear out, so I try not to wear them too often.

I love Yuzu's boots. Sigh. I remember the punk days when I was physically fit. I was so nice and thin. I wore black on black all the time - black jeans, black leather jacket and black boots. This was when I was in my 20's. Oh yes. The good old days. Thanks, Yuzu.

The only shoes I wear are tennis-shoes with velcro. I couldn't care less about fashion & I can tie shoes but it's difficult for me due to bad fine motor-skills & a tremor disorder that acts up when doing things with fine motor-skills. I also have wide feet & need wide shoes & still have to get them half a size bigger. I have almost no selection for wide mens with velcro except for a couple color choices & model they're getting rid of that's on sale or new model by New Balance.

Personally I hate shoe shopping. Couldn't care less about fashion and can't hardly walk in anything with a heel. I only go shoe shopping when I absolutely must.

I usually wear some form of skate shoe. I've had the best luck with Nikes; they seem to hold up pretty well through all the abuse I subject my shoes to.

I tend to slip my feet out of my shoes a lot--I'll pull my heel out and leave them dangling off my toes, if that makes any sense.

Uh Oh, I think we need pictures of both pairs of socks!

Edit: forgot to mention, I'm seriously uncoordinated, trip or teeter on shoes, so I tend to wear walking shoes or something very flat and non-trippy.

Shoes have to be wide fit and preferably with laces because i have a bone spur on the arch of my foot. Nothing higher than half inch heel and be made from breathable material. Wintershoes need to be leakproof so if they are leather I will treat them, I have a pair of Gore-tex ones that I never wear cause the tips are too pointy to my liking.
I can't stand trainers with white-edged soles which means I don't wear a lot of trainers now. I have an old pair of Vans I treasure.
But above anything they have to look small as I take a size 43 when I insert my support sole.
