Self-explanatory on both counts.
---
I first found out about a computer when I was 2, around 1989 or so. I first got on the internet when I was 10, in 1997. So you might say I am a veteran to all this! :)

I didn't really get on the internet until I was about 7.

I first learned to use a computer when I was 2, around 1990. I didn't learn to use the Internet until about third grade, in 1996, when I was 8.

I was probably five or six when I first used a computer. I was on the internet in the early nineties, on Prodigy I believe.

My parents bought their first computer when I was 2, in 1995. I've been on computers pretty much constantly ever since, and I started actively using the internet around 2000 or so. Mostly for games. It wasn't until around 2004 that I started appreciating the social side of the internet.

In 1998 when I was 34 years old. My husband did some side work for this old couple and they gave him a computer in exchange for it. It was old and I don't remember what it had on it, but we had to get a modem installed. It was huge and had a floppy drive. We knew nothing about computers and I had a priest friend in South Alabama who worked on them, he was retired from the Church and so I mailed it to him and he sent it back with Windows 98 and AOL 6.0 I think (or maybe 5.0) and some games and stuff. My husband unboxed it when he got home and hooked it all up with Fr on the phone telling him what to do, and then we had to hang up to get online so he left it to me and I switched to the printed pages he had sent telling me how to get online with the AOL account he had set me up and what to do to look at things and how to email him once I did.

It was old when we got it, but I thought we were high tech for about two weeks till I actually noticed other people's computers.
That was when my kids started getting online too. My oldest, anyway. He was 9 at the time. My others got on when they got old enough to play a kids game and then when they started school they really got online. I remember being the computer expert in my family, showing them what to do.

Now I don't dare to anything without their approval and neither does my husband, we don't know what we are doing anymore.

I got online in 1998, but I had been using computers since the early 90s.

I learned to use a computer when I was like 5, with an Atari. I started getting online pretty much when the internet started to come out, back when all they had were the dial-up 14.4k modems. And of course, you couldn't use your telephone while you were on the internet, and they didn't really have cell phones then like we do now.

I think I must've been about 10 or 11, I know that our school hardly had computers for pupils in those days only in the higher years and it was about the last year that I used one.
I never had one until I was 12. and that was a Time pc. cost was dear too.
all my home projects were by hand until then and it was probably best as I was much better at it then and they used to say, if you've got a computer use one, only because some of those teachers were too lazy to read between the lines of the subtext.

I got a head start with computers and a precursor to the Internet when I was 10 back in 1978 or 1979 because my mom's 2nd husband is a nuclear physicist so we had a computer at home and one of those cradle modems so he could get on the lab where he worked network. They had one text based D&D type game on the lab server that my brother and I were allowed to play. After that we had an Atari computer as well. As an adult I got my own Internet access, prodigy or aol I think in like 1995.

Started using our newly bought household computer when I was nine years old. Started using the internet around the age of 14.

the first one i used was a Commodore 64, in 1982.

(although, my dad, a hi-tech gadget freak, had two computers before that...but they were "very expensive", so he'd never let us touch them. )

Early 1990's. I can't remember the specific year, but I vaguely recall accessing the old BBS technology prior to the proliferation of the World Wide Web.

First computer my family had was an Amiga 500 in the early 90s, when I was 7 years old. Started using the Internet at high school and the library for research. Didn't get connected at home until the early 2000s, when I was at uni.

6, at school. On and off around 10, during family visits. Briefly when I was 12 or 13, and on and off until 15 and have used one ever since then.
