Today I was shopping in Tesco, I saw the coconut milk on the shelf I decided to buy it. I've never bought that, but from childhood i always loved the coconut cookies :D
I bought a coconut milk out of curiosity, but as I tried tasted like drinking emulsion paint: (

I don't think I've ever had it by itself. I think I've only had it in Pina Colada's but I like it very much in those. Even without the rum I can drink a blender full of just the coconut and pineapple and ice.

I've never tried canned coconut milk by itself, but I like the kind that's sold as a beverage and flavored with chocolate.

The canned milk is good for cooking. For a beverage, you want coconut water...that stuff is divine. :D I see it being sold like juiceboxes now, but I've only had it right out of the coconut so far.

Coconut juice is amazing. Coconut water is ok. Coconut milk is disgusting.

Coconut milk isn't very nice. I'm dairy free so gave it a try but it's not for me.

I only use coconut milk/cream for cooking, mainly curries.

Weve bought actual coconuts -cut off the tops- and drunk from them- when I was a kid a couple times. Its was okay. Or whatever the liquid was - it was okay. I dont know what the differences between coconut milk, coconut oil, and coconut juice, is.

Coconut milk is supposed to be the most fattening thing in the world. But coconut oil (or is it the juice?) is a fad healthfood right now.

I don't like coconut milk by itself, but mixed in with other things, it's pretty good.

I don't like coconut flesh, though. :?

I'm not from a warm country and so coconut was not a natural part of my diet. I think it's probably an acquired taste. I tried it for the first time when I was around 18 or 19 and thought it was rather strange, mildly disgusting. Now I like it in curries, drinks, desserts etc. However, if I tried to drink coconut milk straight from a can, then I doubt I'd like it. I think I have read in multiple sources that coconut is one of the very few plants whose fat is actually harmful to health.

I also sometimes buy something that I have never tried but feel curious about in a shop. That's how I got to like bruxelles sprouts.

No, I don't like coconut milk. It does not taste good.

Vanilla almond milk, though, tastes much better than cows' milk.
