I saw a film the other day about the life of James Dean. I could not help but think that he had asperger traits. Although it showed that he did not get on well with his step dad and his mothers death as a boy must have affected him. But he seemed to have a very unique way of going about things.

There are very few good minds in the field of psychological autopsy.

He was a film star of the 1950's who died very young. Most famous film is "Rebel without a Cause".

He was a real odd character. Interesting person to read about.

James Dean was an actor who was well known in the 50s and 60s.

He was the heart throb of his day and died a tragic death in a car accident. Wasn't he the one that said "Live fast, die hard and leave a beautiful corpse"?

When I was a kid, I thought that James Dean and Jimmy Dean were the same person.

Most of what I knew about him was from the Hilary Duff song

I TOO think he must have been autistic or at least have Asperger´s! He was showing every possible sign of having it every time I saw his video interviews.

This thread reminded me of how much I love this song (click)

(Is it weird that every time I hear this song, the only thought running through my head is "this is what I'd perform if I were a drag king?")

That song is so gay. It does not remind me of Jimmy Dean at all. Maybe just of Jimmy Dean in a drag :-)
