If you are looking for a Missed Connection, why don't you at least give enough identifying details to the person so that they have some shot at seeing your ad and maybe responding??

Or a generic poem (I hate these!!) that could very well apply to millions of people on the planet.

We have these in my city too. Usually they identify the place and time, or at least something that the person was wearing or doing.
Even then, the descriptions are still very limited. I used to wonder why.
When I tested a theory on my friends, I found that they simply do not notice details at all. Especially a few days to a week later. They don't notice details in the first place, and if they do, they don't retain them. The lack of description and detail probably has to do with that more than anything.
