I have a sensitive stomach so I weigh my food in order to prevent becoming bloated. I know how much I need to eat of most food.
With puffed wheat cereal, one serving for me is 1.2 oz weighed.
For Uncle Sams whole grain cereal, one serving for me is 2.8 oz weighed.
I never understood why there would be any difference in the weight of what cereal I could eat.
Which weighs more? A pound of feathers or a pound of bricks. The answer is obviously that they weigh the same.
Why doesn't it apply to my cereal that I eat. Shouldn't the same weight of both cereals fill me up?
