Gastronomically, bugs are the final frontier. I haven't ventured out to eat the chapulines, fried crickets, they serve here in Seattle because I have to drive out of my way and do some extravagant parking. (Parking's a nightmare in Seattle). They're next on my list of things to try, though.
I tried it when I was in the army at JBLM. fried crickets are okay. I agree with the parking in Seattle thing. Royal nightmare. I eventually parked near Pike's Place and went to some restaurant with a friend where we had the things.
