I believe in the "possibility" of reincarnation.From the perspective of spirituality it makes more sense or seems more fare then heaven or hell.I was raised in Christian Science, which never uses the term but has a similar theory....an individual is at a particular point in spiritual development and has to learn through many lives how to over come the "illusion"of physical being.After many life times you are supposed to see through the illusion and become your true completely spiritual self...at one with the "godhead"..It reminds me a lot of Buddhism.

I use to think I was a reincarnated "witch",when I was a kid,because it was the only explanation I could think of for why I was so obsessed with witches.(The kind of witches who lived alone in a cabin in the woods and knew every thing about healing plants and had cats for their "familiars"...not the kind who were portrayed as worshipping Satan and putting curses on the neighbors cow.)It still sounds like a pretty ideal life if you dont end up being burned or drowned by you yahoo neighbors.

The economy of nature, rock decays by natural processes, bacteria break it down farther, then plants can feed and be feed for animals, eaten by other animals, who become compost, but spirits exist beyond the flesh, out of body, astral travel. Yes, I have always leaned towards that belief. Some of of my favorite authors on the subject have been Gina Cerminarra, and Edgar Cayce. A good work of fiction, was "Green Darkness," by Anya Seton, which haunted me for a long time.
