Flavor-wise, I like Red Bull.
But ingredient-wise, I like Syzmo.

I'm wary of those energy drink ads that say, "Gives you energy all day." What kind of energy are they talking about? Is it the kind of energy that allows you to run a personal record breaking mile or the kind of energy that makes you climb the walls until you crash?

I have a theory that the ingredients in Energy Drinks actually do nothing for your body, but you get energy from them because the label tells you that you will. It's the whole mind-over-matter thing. There have been tons of cases of college kids drinking tons of coffee which makes them able to easily stay up all night and study, only to find out later that the coffee was decaf. I've also noticed that my most gullible friends are the ones who get hyper after drinking those things, and that no matter how many of them I drink I never feel any more energetic. Plus, they all taste like total crap.

I tend to agree with you on this. I only like the two I mentioned for their flavor, not because they actually give me any kind of extra energy -- because they don't.

Energy Drinks are The Speed of The New Millenium. :D

I love them, as any 60s Type Mod of the 21st Century would. 8)

I like Full Throttle Blue Demon. It has real agave flavor; agave is a cactus that tequila is made from.

I also like Monster Khaos. It's made with fruit juice, so you get vitamins in addition to the energy.

For a really strong kick, I use Chasers 5-Hour Energy.

Lucozade, i used to get it as a treat when i was ill, i managed a whole week on nothing but Lucozade once. It always seems special when i have it, and it cheers me up, even when i can't keep anything down.
