I want to know if anyone else here sometimes feels left out of something, yet they simply do not want to join in and have no interest whatsoever. Is there a name for this?

Lots of people on a site I go on talk about a certain game (I don't want to say it but it begins with M) and I have no interest in it, but that doesn't stop me from feeling excluded when mention it.

Yes I get that feeling.

It's like tonight I'm going to a party but I don't really want to go. However, I know that if I don't go I will have missed out on something that everybody will be talking about.

I don't want to go, but I don't want to feel excluded.

I don't know if there is a word for it.

I get that too, I often feel lonely and left out. But when I am in a group of people being social I want to go home after a couple of hours.

Guilty of this feeling too. I could be wrong, but I think it stems from confidence and trust issues.

I know the feeling. I wish there was a single name for it. For now I just refer to it as feeling generally "restless and discontent".

I knew I weren't alone on this and I have had this problem on so many occasions. Hence why in some social situations I'm observant and silent.
