Hey guys.

Just wondering, did everybody here have a good christmas?

What did you guys get?
I got a few non expensive things, as we're saving up to go on a major holiday early next year.

What did you do on the day?

What I did was, I went to my cousins place, my other cousin was visiting from Australia, so we had a get together braai.
I ended up having a little too much to drink, and was extremely tipsy, but it was a fun day overall.

I've been trying to work at perfecting my 6 pack, and these past few days, over the festive period, I've eaten so much junk, I'm just hoping it doesn't delay the results of that.
Been trying to eat less crap the last day or so, but family keep insisting stuff, like "Here Paul, have this decicious christmas pudding", and I'm starting to feel incredibly unhealthy.

So let me know what y'all did.

Anybody did anything funny, or incredibly dumb, that will make people laugh?

Thanks guys

Peace out.

Thanks for asking.

Well, let's see.

I woke up with an eye infection so I had to trade in my contacts for my thick glasses.

In the afternoon I went back to my contacts even though my eyes were still watery.

Against my wishes, I drove down to Chinatown. Some of the stores were closed and there was a fire, but I found an open one and went in.

I had a mediocre shrimp with lobster sauce then bought some duck and pork to go. (I'm eating those now).

I live alone so no presents changed hands. Technically, I should be depressed, and I am somewhat, but I guess I've lived alone so long I must be used to it.

I had a little champagne and some beer but I didn't get drunk.

I watched two Christmas specials on TV (Kelly Clarkson's and Michael Buble's) and just enjoyed the rest of the night.

It was great!! I got a lot of clothes, and a tablet as well!! I can browse the internet on it, but it's hard to press some things, so I'll only use it for the internet when the computer is less convenient. And to check on things.

Glad you had a good christmas.

A Tablet?
How Convienient, and don't worry about you finding it hard to press things, you'll probably be used to it in a week or so.

Extremely nice when you're away from home?
Does it have mobile data, or WiFi only!

Hi, I suppose this Christmas was calm this year, we gone up my nans house and then we gone in to my great nans house next door, she cooks us Christmas dinner every year, and we sit in there and eat, although this year she said would be her last year doing this which I can't blame her, pensions are being cut and her 80 year old selve just can't handle all the fuss of Christmas anymore, so I don't know what's happening next year?

Anyway I got a few gifts of a few people, but the thing I've most been looking forward to is my 130mm Newtonian Telescope! Unfortunately I couldn't use it last night as it was to cloudy but when the stars are out I'll be able to see Saturn and Jupiter with its 4 moons!

Anyway, it's been alright this year, I'm more looking forward to the new year, as soon as we enter 2014 we're officially in the mid 10s, so that should be fun.

It was nothing special. I was home by myself like on any other day. Christmas used to be rather depressing because that was the day that reminded me of the fact that I have no one to celebrate it with while others celebrated it together. I got so used to being alone that I have become kind of immune to the feeling of loneliness. So this year I was quite happy to be by myself.

I had a very good Christmas. I got some new earrings, a book called For The Love of Cats, and The Big Bang Theory Fact or Fiction trivia game, which is basically Trivial Pursuit TBBT-style. I also got a new treadmill (my old one broke), which my stepfather will set up in the next couple days.

I went to my uncle's house, where he is holding an ugly sweater contest. I wore the weirdest sweater I owned (one with the lop-sided collar and skirt-like bottom). However, I lost to my mother. We also did an ornament and gift exchange.

Overall, my Christmas went very well.

Wow. Some of you did amazing stuff, and got some good things!

I'm feeling a little jealous now! haha

Especially how Johnny won $109 with a $10 scratchcard! Congrats!

Went to Denny's for breakfast, fun, crowded, mostly families, haven't been to that one for awhile.

Went to the grocery store, very busy, spent awhile at their cafe area, on their free WiFi, went home, watched T.V. shows on my iPad, mostly 'Mob City'.

In the evening, went to Panda Express for dinner, got a full meal and two bowls of soup for $7!

As jk1, and Max000, and RedRobin, I am alone usually, and Christmas is not really a different day for me.
Actually, both of their posts refer to my day exactly.

Partly due to being careful not to overdo anything too much this Christmas was less stressful than usual; I guess I was mindful of myself. Listening to music helped too. I made a large amount of food all by myself and then after the day was done, cleaned up the whole kitchen before relaxing for the night. There was enough to give a lot of leftovers away, which was what I wanted. Opened just a couple of small presents because we're saving up for something big. Spent most of the day with my son and daughter and her boyfriend. Also got in a small workout on my bike which helped a lot.
