8O

I was going to say "no", but I clicked the link first just to take a look. And apparently, quite some time ago, I *did* put up a profile. Since then I had completely forgotten about it. I don't remember doing it either...

The weird part: there were three different "Hello" messages from three different people, all of whom said they saw my profile and want to communicate. And other than their contact info, their messages are the same, word for word:

Quote:
Hello. my name is [name], i saw your profile today and i became intrested in you and i will like to know more about you and if you can mail an email to my mail address i will give you my picture.here is my mail address([address]) hope we can move from here.waiting for your mail to my mail address above. [name].

Even "interested" is misspelled the same way in all three messages.

Either I am being spammed, or the system has a pre-generated "Hi" message that gets sent whenever someone wants to send a Hello message to someone else. What's going on?

Same here.

Conceptionally it will never work.

1) male : female ratio maybe as high as 4:1
2) single aspie men : single aspie women ratio at least 4:1
3) high percent of asexuals and lesbian in the female aspie population
4) Aspie are less likely to move to another location for a mate.
5) Women will more likely choose a NT male physically close to her home town.
6) theory of aspie on aspie romantic relationships being more workable is likely flawed.

At best the site should be called " A Few Aspie Women That Maybe Looking For And Aspie Male But Likely Not" AFAWTMLFAAMBLN.com

If its the same dating site I checked out once then its absolutely pointless to post. There was several hundred guys and 12 girls and no way to tell who was straight, gay, les, bi or trans.

Those sites are completely pointless because the majority of Aspies that are online are on WP and we all know by now who is single and looking in the online AS world as half of what is discussed here deals with relationships or lack there of.
