If it has to be more unisex....
Hmmm.... I'll have to think.
Edited to add: Sammy is gorgeous. Will he get jealous to share you do you think? Me and my two children are so desperate for a parrot but we go to America every summer and it seems unfair to find a second home for him/her in the summer especially as they are so sensitive to change and if you get them harness trained and so forth all that might be undone by the time we get back. I need to find another parrot lover near me to even think of making it possible!
If you aren't an experienced parrot owner I would strongly suggest against getting an African Grey, as they are quite difficult. Sammy is a Jardine and they are very nice. You should consider getting a Jardine. They are quite intelligent (Sammy can talk and do tricks) and aren't as susceptible to change as African Greys.
And he will no doubt get jealous. It is natural. I have once left Sammy with my mother for 3,5 weeks when I was on holiday. I skyped with him, but I did miss him very much. He missed me, too. If I am away from him more than 3 days he will act happy when I arrive home, poop on my shoulder and proceed to ignore me for the rest of the day. After that he is back to normal.
