I take about 10 minutes, but my water company sent me a timer so I'd cut it down to 4 minutes.

Today I tried to wash properly in 4 minutes & found it impossible.

In 2 minutes I had only managed to wash the sock fluff off my feet, wash my belly-button, wash my bum, and then get ready for the proper shower.

So with just another 2 minutes I tried my best to wash all over. I kinda managed it but was still covered in shower gel lather, and not properly washed. So it took a further 2 minutes.
to rinse off.
Washing hair took a further 2 minutes, and then rinsing all the soap off of my body took another 2. So in all it took 10 minutes.

According to my water provider a shower should only take 4 minutes.

Personally I think that is impossible.

How long do you take?

It isn't natural for me, but it enables me to "fit in".
It is VERY tiring and draining, but at least we can appear like them even though it is an act. Like being on the stage.
They can't see it is emulation, and so we are accepted.

I take at least 16 minutes in the shower. Soaping up and rinsing off takes me at least that 5 minutes alone. Then I do the whole lather rinse repeat on my hair and that takes another 5 minutes or so. Then there is the obligatory (and certainly avoidable :P) Standing under the water and enjoying the warmth.

Even though that last bit could be cut out, 4 minutes still seems unreasonably short.

I've never timed myself, but I like to do those kinds of things quick because I'd rather be doing something else. I clicked on 4 minutes but it might be longer than that.

Bare in mind, 1 minute to shave my legs and stuff, 1 minute to wash my hair, then 1 minute to have a quick wash, then 1 minute to rinse my hair.

That's how I worked it out. 1+1+1+1=4 :D

I put 15min it can be longer than this in the winter though, I just don't ever want to get out of nice hot steamy shower when its cold.

It's not uncommon for me to spend half an hour or longer in the shower. It's a great time to reflect on the past few days, and sing to the shower head for a while. It's great, because the dorm I live in has practically unlimited hot water, so I don't have to cut it short when it runs out, like I do when I'm at home.

Sometimes I'd like to do it all at once, because it takes two minutes to brush my teeth.

If I could brush my teeth and have a shower all in the same go, I'd be saving bare time.

But I don't like spitting the mouthwash down the plughole in the bath.

I brush my teeth in the shower all the time! Good excuse to stay warm longer :D

Between ten and fifteen minutes. If my shower lasts less than ten minutes, then it was done in a rush and was not comfortable.

It usually takes me 8 minutes to have a shower. I like to smell nice and clean.

I was always taught that if I have too many washes, I'll wear myself away.

8O How? It takes me 20-30 min to do a proper job, ten if if I don't care if I get razor burn or miss patches.

It takes me a 20 min to a half hour if I don't shave my legs, 30-40 min if I do. And this is after a MASSIVE improvement in the last couple years. It used to take me an hour and half.

How long it takes me varies depending on what I'm doing. Every other night I use a 2nd shampoo for male-pattern baldness & itching related to it in addition to my regular shampoo so the shower takes a little longer than shower with just one. I shave in the shower which takes me a while longer than most due to low vision & bad fine motor-skills. I shave my face about 1ce a week but the length of time I go varies some usually when it starts looking long or itching & I think of it & feel up to it so how long it takes me varies a little due to how long the hair is but I recently started using a cream to help reduce/slow down the rate of growth in my facial hair so it would probably be better if I shave a little more frequently for a while till it starts working. I shave my crotch for hygienic reasons but like my face it's when the hair starts getting long, itchy & I think of it & feel up to it & that's every couple weeks if I guessed an average. I don't shave my crotch & face the same night because it would take too much longer & I'd defiantly run out of hot water. My shower time also varies depending on how dirty I feel but I usually don't feel too dirty unless I've been doing certain chores like cleaning my chinchilla's cage or dusting & vacuuming & I feel dirtier maybe 1ce or 2wice a week.

I've only got two legs. I shave them every other day, so I've got fast at it.

I'm gonna time myself tonight anyway, just to be sure because it's on my mind now.
