There's a lot, but here are some of the main ones (although there's an 'other' option) and I'm just wondering what's the first one people tend to think of. Plus, I've got a bit of a flag fascination at the moment. I said Russia myself

Seeing as how I was born and raised in the Netherlands, I pretty much always associate the sequence red-white-blue with the Netherlands first, like Andras.

Also, you guys who said Russia might find it interesting that the colours of the Russian flag were supposedly inspired by the Dutch flag!

The country where I was born, the United States. It was also the first national flag that I remembered seeing in my lifetime.

Besides my own, the next one I thought of was France.

Each state has its own flag as well? I had no idea.

Indeed, each U.S. state have their own flag that is flung on a pole under the U.S. flag, or on a separate pole. Here is a link to each if you're interested -> U.S. State flags

We kind of have something similar here in the Netherlands, as each of the 12 provinces has its own flag, while every municipality within each province also sports their own flags.

I suppose this is not the case in Norway. I'm unfamiliar with the Norwegian administrative division, but a cursory glance seems to reveal that each county has a coat of arms, but no flag.
