Are you a Romantic or a Realist?

You Are A Romantic Realist

Image

You tend to be grounded when it comes to romance.
Sure, you can fall hard... but only for someone you've gotten to know.
And once you're in love, you can be a total romantic goofball...
But you'd never admit it to your friends!

You Are A Realistic Romantic

It's easy for you to get swept away by romance...
But you've done a pretty good job keeping perspective.
You're still taken in by love poems and sunsets
You just don't fall for every dreamy pick up line!

I'm a Realist.

When it come to romance, you take a realistic approach.
You believe that love takes time, and it's something you have to work hard for.
A bit cynical, over the top romance tends to get under your skin.
Your heart is difficult to win ... but it's totally worth it.

Damn test does not apply as I never had a sweetie in the first place.

But I am not sans romance. Ex. last summer i went to an airshow at a local airport with museum. In museum was unusual AC engine. As soon as I saw the letters "GM" associated with it, I knew what it was (never heard of it, but i knew its operation), and designer. Designer (at least projekt head: Charles kettering). I touched it and was in swoony extacy to be in physical contact with such an artifact.

Just romantic about different things.

A romantic. No realism at all

You Are A Romantic
You life your life like a fairy tale... or at least you try to.
Living for magical moments, you believe there's only one true love for you.
Love is the most important thing in your life, and you don't take it for granted.
Your perfect match loves to be in love as much as you do!

It is a bit nauseating but probably true. :)

To romanticize is to see someone or something as more ideal, more perfect than reality.

I wonder if the word origin is Roman.

romance Look up romance at Dictionary.com
c.1300, "story of a hero's adventures," also (c.1330), "vernacular language of France" (as opposed to Latin), from O.Fr. romanz "verse narrative," originally an adverb, "in the vernacular language," from V.L. *romanice scribere "to write in a Romance language" (one developed from Latin instead of Frankish), from L. Romanicus "of or in the Roman style," from Romanus "Roman" (see Roman). The connecting notion is that medieval vernacular tales were usually about chivalric adventure. Literary sense extended by 1667 to "a love story." Extended 1612 to other modern languages derived from Latin (Spanish, Italian, etc.). Meaning "adventurous quality" first recorded 1801; that of "love affair, idealistic quality" is from 1916. The verb meaning "court as a lover" is from 1942.

How romantic :)
