Ok, so I just hosted for Winter-een-mas(the gamer holiday). Me and a few friends played games in a dark cellar for 26 hours straight and drank about 23 cans of redbull and too many snacks to count. Frankly, I don't think I'm going to survive to the end of the week but, in the off chance that I'm wrong, my sleep schedule is totally reversed (sleep all day and awake all night) and I need to get it back to normal. How do I do this? Does anyone have any advice? Because it's 3.AM here and I just woke up.

You meant 3pm?

And you simply stay up overnight and all day tomorrow until your super tired around 11pm and pass out.

I mean 3am. I can vaguely recall this time last night...uhhh, the one before that, the sky is black and my blood is starting to feel itchy. I've done this before and I can't stay awake for that long.

I would gradually shift bedtime earlier until it is back to normal.. use an alarm clock to gradually wake you up earlier.. try to get some sunshine in the day.. be active.. and for night time be concious of what you are eating and drinking.. and be aware of your body temperature.

I was afraid someone would suggest that. Well, I guess that IS the most logical thing to do. Even though last time I tried it it almost killed me. Well, thanks anyway.

Me too. I am wide awake and need to get some sleep.

One thing you can do is get some good exercise and get up at the same time everyday. Also, when you go to bed read something technical or educational. Usually I'll doze off after a few pages.

I have this problem all the time. Waking up earlier with an alarm doesn't work. Best method is to just stay up until an hour or so before the time you want to normally go to bed at.

I personally don't touch any caffeine so I would advise you to stay away from it. Valerian is a good herbal remedy that can help sleep, a 1000mg of Valerian will definitely put you to sleep.
