i can (obviously) come off as really abrupt and my tone can sound sharpish, so feel free to ask me to clarify

I enjoy watching the bats fly around the house at dusk.There are bat houses that people can buy to help conserve them.We have caves here that are closed at certain times of the years to protect the babies.If someone was to startle the mothers,they drop the babies.Unfortunately white nose syndrome has been found here,they may close off some of the caves permanently to protect the bats.Spelunkers have accidentally carried the fungus on their boots from one cave to another.

nice one beth,am not able to look at it right now as have only got a tiny bit of bandwith left on a internet 'dongle' but have bookmarked the link,bats are amazing.

in one of the residential homes have lived in, we had two bats race around the house every sunset in the warmer months,used to lie on the concrete in the car park and see them flying about.

love going to the bat house at chester zoo or knowsley safari park.

I've always loved watching bats fly, but I've never seen them up close and personal like this, it's like watching an entirely different creature.

I am fascinated with bat cam!!

One got in a hole in the screened in porch once when I was out there,I just opened the porch door for it to get out.Sometimes they catch bugs by the window at night.Its fun to watch them swoop by.
