I never read blogs, even if they are linked in signatures, but for some reason last night I started reading yours. You write fantastically! Have you ever thought of doing it professionally? I must admit I'm addicted now.

Just thought I'd let you know that you have a fan out here in blog reading land.

thanks OOM! :) and thanks for not PMing as for some reason it makes it much calmer to write on a forum, am stressed out to bits at the moment due to a spinal injury and not having the pain medication to cope with it.

its funny as the pyschologist of mine has just been to visit and he said the same thing about the blog lol.

have been told to go profesionaly before, as in write a book but have tried it and it didnt work out, its just stuff that comes to head as and when-its a mental archive as am not able to output it to others through verbal communication.

KOR---I enjoy your blog, too. Just curious: how did you come up with your screen name?

I'm sorry you have to endure all that you do. I think, through hard work, that you've acquired a great knowledge of the nature of Autism Spectrum Disorders.

LOL...It's hard to like a chicken--they are hard to catch so you could hug them! :D

the name is to do with the fact have spent the past decade living in institutional/ residential care, and the autist bit explains itself. :D

one of mine; lorna wing [lorna for short, named after the obvious, and because wing fits a chicken perfectly as well] will come for a hug as soon as am seen by her, kanner [named after leo kanner] is a cockerel and whenever have gone in the coop he always comes for a hug in a manly way;sort of looks like he is being cocky but he dives into arms at the last moment.

That makes perfect sense. The state of institutions!

Should have thought of that. :)
