There is a pizza place nearby who has a poster which displays the companies they buy their products from.in the bottom right corner is a statement which says"pizza helps reduce cancer"
I see this as a pretty inacurate comment as i saw a study where red meat especially proccesed meats increase the chances of liver cancer and heart dissease by something like 30%

What do you think?

If it was whole grain with just veggies then it would be healthy.Depends on the pizza.I don't think a double pepperoni is going to help fight cancer.

I don't think so, either.

Wait awhile. Soon enough, someone will say pizza causes cancer. Half the things anyone does are said to cause cancer anyway.

Pizza contains tomato sauce. tomatoes are a cancer prevention food.

The two ingredients thought to be cancer preventative are cooked tomatos and olive oil. Done with a thin crust and moderate cheese (Italian style) at least one study showed significant reduction of several cancers with people who ate a moderate amount of pizza regularly (once a week).

I have been limiting myself to once or twice a month. Finally a change to my liking! :D Italian style is the only way to go.

It doesnt have to be accurate it only has to fool people into believing it therefor increasing sales. The onus is on the customer to find out whether it reduced cancer. Personally, I don't care whether it does it not but I like pizza just the same.

Thanks for the links guys, you're totally right.and the numbers from the studies are stunning.but that was only for traditional pizzas.it said to take it with a grain of salt, not all places
Make them the sme.the bad ingredients seem to be the pepperoni and possibly the crust,if its made with processed wheat ingredients.

I would have liked to answer you all in one post but i cant go back and forth with my phone,i lose what i wrote

Eating pizza promotes happy feeling.
Happy feelings make you less likely to get cancer.

That's about how I see it but I think happy feelings promote better health in general.

No wonder I often feel physically ill when I'm depressed.
