Do you feel like female members here get accepted or reached out to here by some male members more easily than you would expect?

I just see some threads here where it looks like new females especially are pounced on like a raw pork chop in a lion cage. Maybe it is all innocuous but it just looks a bit predatory to me sometimes. Maybe its just me.

No, I have never noticed this. But then It's not really something I look out for.

I just notice things like this. I see a lot of time in shopping centers people using this body language that is asserting to onlookers that this person is my property. Not companion, or partner, but (in body language speak) "hey, this person belongs to me" Like when people suddenly do grab ass or "spontaneous contact" or smoochy smoochy stuff only after noticing someone of an opposite gender than one of them is observing.

Oh I know what you mean there.

I do notice it when I'm out and about.

Personally I hate to see people being pawed by each other in public.

I dislike it too, especially when it is just for show, to get a reaction.

Or getting pawed by a stranger in public,ewwww.
But I'd rather see happy people pawing at each other than angry people fighting.

I haven't noticed it as much here as I have in other forums, like the professional ones (85:15 m:f) I usually hang out in.
I haven't personally experienced any creeping here, everyone's been pretty sweet.

(If it were to happen, there's no shame in pinging a moderator. I am the only female mod on one of he professional forums I mentioned, so I deal with it for the team there, people who run forums want everyone to feel welcome, and when they hear about a problem, they'll dig in and address it.)

I did have a couple of guys/people bothering me using my old ID but I took most of a year off and things seem a lot better here now.

Never really noticed any issues with guys on this website. All of you have been pretty nice to me. ;)

I don't see male/female, rather the person. Some here I know more like "i see their colour" (as in the Village). But I'm also like that outside the forum, which by the way is something that confuses adults regarding myself. Adult world is a lot about sexuality in social interaction, and perhaps have not matured as a person to incorporate that in my behaviour. When I try it's a disaster. I don't mean hitting on someone. I mean being a woman in social interaction with other women/men. I usually bond well with kids.

No issues for me. I seem to strike people as masculine sometimes, which is interesting.

Striking people is a boy thing ^^ You can't blame people if they get that impression *winks*
