What are some of your opinions that are in the minority?

I have so many that are:

1. Bragging about your sex life is lame. I'm a virgin whose nearly 23 and am always prejudged off of that. Who really cares if you're a virgin or not? People go at their own pace.

2. Sex jokes/references or any jokes/references that are gross/dirty are extremely juvenile and unfunny to me. Why do most comedies have to have a bunch of disgusting humor in them?

3. Video games should be entertaining and challenging meaning that they don't get dumbed down for others. If the person wants an easier game, then they should simply just play an easier game. I'm tired of so many online games getting dumbed down for the little kids when that wasn't even their original intended target audience.

4. There's nothing at all wrong with Asexuality as the individuals who are Asexual don't sexually harass others public. It's not a disorder either as they're simply just not wired to have sexual attraction.

5. Being under the influence doesn't give you an excuse for misbehavior as you're more than capable of avoiding Alcohol by not drinking it beforehand.

6. There's nothing wrong with an adult liking a G rates show/movie. Whatever movie they enjoy is what they enjoy.

7. Height isn't at all important (unless you're playing sports). I'm about 6'2" and would actually like to see individuals who are shorter (below 5'7") not be treated as if they're inferior in today's society. I'm taller than nearly everybody and don't see anything significant about it.

8. Once you hit 18-21 (there's a small difference between an 18 and a 21 year old that's almost insignificant) age is nothing more than just a number as age, intelligence, common sense and maturity are four different things, and there's no way to guess age through maturity.

9. Knowledge, education and overall intelligence are three different things, but they usually go in hand with each other. I've met so many individuals who think that they're geniuses just because they can memorize facts. Having 3 degrees just means that you were willing to pay to take classes and work hard for them. It doesn't mean that you're more intelligent really. I've met so many individuals with degrees who aren't at all intellectual, and I've noticed the exact opposite in some who don't have one.

10. Unless the person is an actual Sociopath, then individuals can change with the right assistance. It may not happen right away, but antagonizing people who want to change doesn't assist them either.

I don't like judder or monochrome.

1. Words only have the meaning and the power you give them.

This really is a pet peeve of mine. To me you either choose to let words bother you or you don't. As simple as that. There is no in between. I get tired of having to be censore or stop using a certain word because it may hurt someone's feelings. It's just like the TV if you don't like a show just change the channel. Its just a major annoyance in my life. I say what I say as I like and as I say it. You chose to allow that word to affect you.


I say that this is a minority view because I have had arguments in the past with people. "well that's how you were raised, it isn't how I was raised so respect that I don't like the word f**k" Respect that I will use the word f**k without censoring and that is what I use in common everyday speech.

from what I've read, America is the only nation which censors nudity and profanity. I think we are a namby pamby nation.

Well its true. We don't even censor profanity any more. The word ret*d or ret*d is censored these days on air and on forums. I am pretty sure its censored on this site too. Because some kid who was a little ret*d, special whatever you want to call it, took it as an insult and it hurt their feelings because they want to be treated equal.

You know what I say to people who try to hurt me using words, go f**k yourself...well actually I tell them go f**k a duck. The point is even I have used the word ret*d. "I'm socially ret*d" if I am embarrassed about something. "That's ret*d" to mean something is ridiculous.

And imo, when someone says something against me I just use it as ammo against them.

If someone says, you're a fa***t

I go, No I don't smoke

They look at me strangely and walk off. But words shouldn't be censored and words do not have power if you don't give them power. Turn them into ammunition against the person trying to hurt you. Everyone can do this. They chose not to.

If someone says, you're gay

Use the oldest trick in the book, thanks I'm quite happy today

If someone says, go f**k yourself

what about here with all the "****" and such? and on commercial television the bleep is ever present. I have seen Canadian tv and they never bleep.

That was mostly my fault for not phrasing it better.

As to other things.

A second one that I believe goes against the majority:

1. There is No Honor in Beating the Weak

This specifically has a lot to do with big business agriculture. Or anything really. If it cannot fight back, if it isn't as strong as you mentally or physically. Be it human or other species, there is no honor in beating someone weaker than you
