If there's blood, violence, a good storyline, and it looks good, then yes. Anything else is pointless to watch.

It depends on the movie for me. Like I'll watch a drama, but not a romantic comedy.

I'll watch a romcom, IF it has good characters. (Like "Notting Hill" -- I like that one for the charactarisations of the minor/supporting characters.) but don't watch romantic comedies generally.

I love watching movies. Movies are great!! ! I watch movies every night. (And if there's nothing on the telly I'll pull out a DVD or video.) And movies are one of the rare things I actually LIKE to talk about.

I always tell people who try to talk about music with me, I don't know musicians and bands so well, but let's talk movies and then we've got a conversation. ('Cos I like music too but barely have enough information in my head to sustain any kind of conversation about bands.)

Yes, I do, especially if it is about a subject that interests me.

it's good to watch them before bed or after a long day.

i'll watch almost anything as long as it seems watchable.

I like to watch movies that don't have very much blood or gore.

Movies is one of my "interests." I LOVE movies...

Yet I have to be in a special place or I freak out watching them. I start to dissociate and panic, and the sound overwhelms me. Sometimes, well, most times, I have to have down time after watching a movie.

I have a whole pile of DVD's I haven't watched yet because I am waiting for the time I feel up to it.

For years, I used to love watching films. Gory Italian zombie horror, usually. Then I grew out of that phase. I still have all the DVDs from that particular period. Just recently I've started watching foreign films again and have found some crackers, too. As long as you have a bit of patience it can take you away for a few hours. There are loads of films that do not make any reasonable sense to most people though and those are the ones that I find very frustrating (and usually boring, too). My favourite film genre at the moment is probably Korean cinema.

YES! I get that too!! The better the movie, the more downtime I need. That's why when, after seeing a movie in the theaters my mum goes "Did you like the movie?" I'll just go "yeah" and get back to lamenting. When we arrive home, I shut myself in my room for a while. Sometimes I play a game on my PS2 to help out.
