When you were in elementary school, during patriotic school functions like celebrating flag day, did a group of soldiers often come and do a march in the gym during the event? Like they would march around in a circle, freeze, and do poses? I remember my elementary school often had soldiers come and do something like that during flag day, and I hate to say it, I used to think it was SO funny! Litereally, it was very hard resisting to laugh being it was a serious event but looked so funny in how they marched. Do you know what I"m talking about here? Has your school ever had soldiers do that and thought it was funny too?

My schools never did anything like that but the state I lived in cares aLOT more about stopping terrorism & policing other countries than they do about Veterans who've returned home. I don't know if schools here in America can have soldiers marches now because some law that may of gotten passed which prevents the military from soliciting or getting endorsed by schools & colleges.

My school was never visited by soldiers at all. I would likely have thought it cool.

Sing it as they march.

I never attended assemblies if I could help it. By my Senior year of high school, I managed to escape from all but 2 of them without any problem. I had an aversion to being in large groups of people. I never stuck around to see anything like a drill team from the ROTC or from the military.
