Hi folks,

Two people have expressed some kind of irritation with my avatar.

Yes, this is rather egotistical; but I don't want to offend many people with something so visual. Visual impressions, as we all know, are very important within an autism standpoint.

If you feel like it, could I have feedback as to why you dislike it within your response? LOL....I wouldn't mind feedback as to why you LIKE it as well.

If 70% of the responders dislike my avatar (sample size of at least 15), I will change it.

Thanks, folks, for your indulgence.

I guess I'm being rather neurotic about this.

I promise I won't use a dislike of my avatar as a reason to dislike someone. That would be ridiculous.

Thanks, folks!

I understand why I didn't receive feedback--it was obviously neurotic on my part LOL....but somebody on the Site who is pretty reasonable called my avatar "creepy."

This is why I wanted to place this up to a vote.

Change it if you want to, not because someone told you it was creepy, honestly I preferred your previous one. I think it's the blue from the corner of your caricatures eyes.

Oh, Mon Cherie Amity,

Thanks for the feedback. I do appreciate it.

Most likely, I'm not going to change it in the foreseeable future.

I like your little bluebird, by the way.

Sure why not, there is such a variety of avatars here. You have a lot of posts, so I guess thats why your caricature is noticed. It's a little kingfisher btw.

WP wouldn't be WP without your iconic avatar.

I don't dislike your avatar, I actually imagine you as looking like that! :)

I have come across at least one other poster on this site who uses the same avatar though.

I think your avatar suits you quite well. You wouldn't be you without your current avatar. :)

Amity: You should read "The Kingfisher" by Charles Olson.

I don't care either way. It doesn't bother me, but it doesn't thrill me either. Change it if YOU want to change it. I kind of like mine, and this is the only one I've used here, and that's for several years now, so I am not planning on changing it anytime soon. It kind of amuses me. I change my desktop theme pix packs every few weeks though, and sometimes more often. That gives me the chance to have more variety in pix to look at--a sort of desktop redecorating. :D

i'm using FMX's fix that restores the green and blue so, having that plain white background is a tiny bit jarring.

Mr Kipro:

You would probably like "The Little Prince."

I first read that when I was six.
