Peter Dickson had the longest run of any announcer on British Price is Right. Does he in any way remind you of the Count from Sesame Street?

I would say he does, because he has that voice, but he is much less scary!

I can just imagine him saying, "Jason Larsen, come on down. Ah, ah, ah!"

Don't get me wrong, Peter is a very good announcer! I was just imagining.
