Hair Length.

Inspired by the thread about dress sense:

What length of hair do you think looks best on the opposite gender, and on people the same gender as you? (If you think it varies, then in general?) How long do you have your hair, and why?

I usually have my hair very short, as it's easier to wash, doesn't need combing or putting back, and I think it looks and feels better. With other women I think it depends on the individual, but either very long or very short usually seems to look better. Also long hair in hundreds of thin plaits is usually attractive.

With men, normally short hair seems to look better, but occasionally I see a bloke who looks good with long hair or dreadlocks. My boyfriend tends to have his hair on the longer side, as he doesn't like the sensation of having it cut, but I think it suits him better to have it short.

I really don't mind how long a girls' hair is.

What about the current Britney Spears look?

I think that Britney would look good with a pink Mowhawk. At least she could have saved a bit of hair, instead of shaving it all off. I think that each person should have their own style, when it comes to hair. I don't think that a woman should be completly bald, though. I think that hair is a personal choice, for the most part.

I like girls with hair at least chin length, although I like best shoulder length or longer. Pony tails or hair thingies (don't know the proper term for them) are fine, as long as the hairstyle doesn't have that stereotypical "schoolteacher" look. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to style or color. However, my favorite style is wavy or slightly curly, and color ranging from dark brown to black.

It depends. I have a preference for redheads and brunettes, although this does not imply some sort of exclusive policy for blonds. As for hair length, it depends on the person. The only thing I don't really like I think is really long hair.

I like womens' hair to not be too short, and not be wadded up into a little ball in the back of their head.

My hair's over two feet long and I want everyone else's to be shorter than that so I have the longest hair ^^

I like long, natural, undyed hair on girls, and I don't care what the same gender's hair looks like, but weird, or headshaven styles look stupid.

I like neck/shoulder length on guys and a bit of a goatee too :3

I like long hair on males, as long as it is fairly clean, although in truth, were I to fall in love with someone their hair would tend to be loved as part of the package regardless, lol. I myself have fairly long and straight light brown hair.
