I know. Ewww. I say it too, but I still eat them. Fess up. They fly off the shelves. Someone gobbles them up

Probably not as much as I used to, but it's a common enough thing. I eat smokies more often than normal hot dogs though.

I eat them a few times a year in the summertime.

I go through periods where I'll eat a couple of packages of them over a few weeks, and then don't buy any for a year. I hardly ever buy them at convenience stores anymore.

When I make them at home, I typically put mustard, relish, chili, and cole slaw on them.

I actually don't eat them very often. Once every couple of months or so. :chin:

Not as often as I used to. I'm more of a sausage person now.

I find it almost impossible to go back to regular hot dogs ever since I discovered the all-natural variety with no fillers or by-products. But they're not cheap. But this is one of those things where quality is better than quantity. I tend to eat sausages more than I probably should. The good kind, especially if they're on sale. I've tried vegan hot dogs and sausages and found them terrible.

When I was little we used to go to this cafe in the small town near our farm and the owner would split the hot dogs and fry them on the grill, delicious.Once I looked under the counter and there was like a million pieces of gum stuck under there,I was amazed and had to vocalize it.There were gum wads of all colors and sizes,I can still see it in my mind.
The other best hot dogs in the world were at the movie theater,in the summer they had a double feature for kids,a Godzilla movie followed by an Elvis movie. We walked there, kids don't walk anymore, and the movie theater was so nice and cool, lots of good memories. One little boy almost got his butt kicked by some other kids,he said Elvis was his cousin and was going to pick him up after the movie in a little red sports car. Some kids didn't believe it and said they would wait around after the movie to see if this was true.Luckily there were plenty of adults that kept the boy from getting thrashed.
I eat them now and then,I prefer the good ones over the cheap.

IIRC, about one every ten years.

Not that often.. maybe once a year? I don't especially like the texture of them.
