Uggs (whoever named those was right on the money)
Open-toed shoes
Those flip-flops with obscenely thick soles (and the women who drive wearing them)
Basketball jerseys on 5'2" men
Vintage motorcycle T-shirts worn by a guy riding a fixie
Firefighter paraphernalia by non-firefighters (the fireman hat window sticker on big white truck)
Men wearing ankle socks
Jeans with giant embroidered back pockets
Anything with the Playboy logo on it
"Angel" and "Devil" stripper window stickers
Surgeons wearing smiley-face headbands when not in the OR
High heel shoes that look like horse hooves

And I agree with the Harley hater - the only thing worse is when the logo is on a minivan

"Hip hop" style in general. All that "pants worn low, boxers showing, sneakers untied" stuff derives from prison culture.

This is exactly how prisoners look after they're released from jail, because their belts and shoelaces are taken away from them. This is why I know this "style" is derived from prison culture.

Sounds a little smug, if you don't mind me saying so.

Those sort of overpriced clothes that come with holes and faded color on them - if you're into uniqeness like that why not save money and rip up second hand one so that it can be a trule one of a kind - if you pay full price new it should look it.
And those sort of black glasses like which Spongebob wears that are popular amongst "hipsters" who wear it "ironically" - I hate that even clothing isn't "sincere" anymore - as if people weren't hard enough to read already!

However I don't mean to slag off individual styles - it's more the intention behind them that I find confusing .

Stripper heels. Low pants with a man's ass hanging out. Overly "sexy" kids' clothes. Pants that are waaay too long. Maxi skirts (my legs are short)

I don't mind. The more I think about this topic, the more it bothers me to see people who have probably complained about being judged for some harmless trait turning around and hating on other people's clothing choices. I did feel smug, but now I'm ticked off.

That's interesting. How did you know that?

I don't like hoodies, and those skirts-and-trousers-in-one. They look stupid. Hoodies just make you look like a thug. I was meaning to get a hoodie to hide my dry skin, but I didn't manage it. Maybe one day...

I think hating other peoples' clothing styles and conforming to the alternative or to your "own" just to be different - is still just as shallow. We are animals - we are supposed to be shallow. ;)
