Classic wholewheat spaghetti is probably what I've eaten most of. I wonder how many miles of it? So I guess I go for "Strand (Straight round-rods)".

No real preference but I have notice that certain shapes do not drain as well. Like curved macaroni tubes.

Oh I like couscous alot which is an instant pasta product.

Who cares? As long as it tastes nice and is actually good for you, I'm not overly bothered about what it looks like. It's not looking to win a beauty contest.

I like angel hair pasta the best. I was raised on vermacelli. The thin pasta wraps around your fork better and you can take a big bite of it. I don't like fighting with fat pasta (linguini, fettucine or some spaghetti) and I can't stand the bow tie, the spiral (rotini, rotelle) nor the tubes (penne, mostacioli). I have yet to like any gnocchi, just bland and to mushy.
