Yup, great book, and Stephenson is one of my favorite authors. I found the Baroque Cycle trilogy really dull, but everything he's written before that is worth reading.

Hadn't heard of Stephenson until recently. The book sounds really interesting.

Great to gain a different persons view on the book/author - bonus that its positive. Makes it more likely I'll make the effort to read it!
