Hi ALL,

I cannot understand I cannot understand why there is:

1) War
2) Famine
3) Predjudice
4) Racism
5) Injustice
6) Corruption

Why people divide instead of join together.
Why people watch whilst others suffer.

It is WRONG Very VERY WRONG

I can understand why.
That's because people are not perfect. Some are stubborn, selfish, stupid, afraid, incompetent etc. Thats the reason. Unfortunately that isn't something one can fix. Government could only hunt(degrade, prison, kill) people with such traits that but it is not possible(they are strong) and even if it was it would make the government no better than them. Leave it be.
It's human nature. It is going to stay like this until human race overall grows up or an artificial intelligence destroys us.

We still live better lives than we would in Medieval times. Keep it in mind when you think about those matters. It is going to be better, human race grows all the time. A lot changed even in last a few years. For example gay people are now considered normal residents and it is not allowed to degrade them in any way. It wasn't like that about 20 years ago. It is a huge step in tolerance.

War=when our country gets attacked, it's time to defend yourself. A county sometimes makes an agreement if another country is invaded or needs help, their country will help their country. A country is in crises so our country feels the need to invade to "help them."

Prejudice=lot of people don;t understand what this word is so I will say what it is according to the dictionary. preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. I would say it's because we're human so we all form an opinion on something we hear we have no experience with.

Racism=something I do not get either and I find it stupid but I know one cause for it is people fear what they don't understand. Some have a bad experience with a group so they tend to judge the rest of them and lump them all in one group. This doesn't justify it.


The rest I don't know either.

Life would be boring without those 6 things.. Yes, I think they are all bad, are very wrong but we do need them because some of us find their stupidity entertaining.

I'm cynical and pessimistic. I think people are naturally selfish (in order to survive) and evil. Only experience and education teach them it's beneficial for all of us to cooperate and help. All the problems mentioned in the OP are caused by human nature although famine can happen even if all people were good if there's no food available. I still hear a lot of homophobic jokes, sexist jokes, racist jokes and so on around me. They only say such things when there is no one belonging to that particular group present. That shows what they really think inside although they claim to be against discrimination. There are many other instances of unjust behavior of people. As long as they don't get in trouble, they will do wrong/bad things.

It is basically because of a combination of misfortune and people making bad/selfish decisions. I mean, obviously it's a lot more complicated than that, but as far as people not helping other people, I don't know.

blame the human drive for money,the use of elitism and the need for hierarchy,and also ignorance and lack of experience with different groups [eg, race,disability,sexuality,religeon etc].
people feel theyre better than others because theyre different,they enjoy building hierarchies and looking better than others.
humanity is like a disease.

War: When someone is attacked, you need to defend yourself. And then the other group will attack you, and it escalates from there.

Famine: Some natural cause of crop failure. Like a big, drought, or flood.

Not sure about the others.
