For those who don't know, Chicken Run is a movie made by Aardman (the same studio who did Wallace and Gromit and Flushed Away) about chickens who want to escape a farm run by the tyrannical, chicken-hating farmer's wife who wants to send them all thru a sinister pie machine.

I was just wondering....I feel like one of the only people who had (has) this movie as one of their special interests. There's just something about those little British chickens that's so endearing, and makes me feel so safe and secure....like all my special interests do. My favorite chickens are Babs, Ginger and Mac (strongly suspect the latter was somewhere on the spectrum herself ;) ) I used to carry my plushie of Babs all over the place with me - she was one of my coping items. :) I also have fond memories of going to see the movie/reading about it with my favorite aunt. :)

Anyone else?

I am fascinated by claymation and the detail they put into it. Sometimes you can see the fingerprints of the artist on the character. Also love the type of humour used in a lot of these.

Far from my favorite of all time however I enjoyed it in the theatre when it came out. I go for any movie where the protagonist escapes using an airplane actually.

It was okay for a kid's movie, though not Claymation's finest hour. I much preferred The Adventures of Frog and Toad that I watched as a child. :)

I loved watching Chicken Run. I remember seeing it in the theater when I was a kid with my dad. I thought it was hilarious! My dad thought it was a so-so movie.

I LOVE the pie making machine scene. I haven't seen the movie since I was 7, though.
