"The sea lures you in with its temptation
Repeating draws you in
With its refreshing breeze and unrelenting waves
Unavoidable pleasure within

Glistening bliss and crystal clear
Yearning to grab you near
Wide and deep, forever keeps
Its secrets you long to hear

The further you go, 'How long does this go?'
You desperately want to know
Thoughts and doubts will not subside
Now it's killing you inside

More and more, 'Do I travel more?'
'Where does it finally end?'
'When do I finally get out?'
This unending sea of dread

You travel far and wide, through the depths of unknown
Seeing the finish line, the island was shown
You step on the sand, oh! how you've missed the land
Relief wash through you, now for a plan

But you stop midway
Remembering the sea
Its bitter sweet temptation
You now clearly see"
