I think I'm becoming obsessed with twins
Has anybody else had an obsession with twins? I've always wanted a twin brother or sister, but now I am becoming rather fascinated by them, and keep looking for films that have twins as characters (especially child twins). I keep reading up about twins and triplets on the internet, but it doesn't always say that much information. I'm more interested in opposite sex twins more than same sex twins for some reason. Apparently some opposite sex twins have identical personalities, but I couldn't find much more information about that.
I know of a woman who don't live in my local town and I know she will never get close to me (she's nearly an old aged pensioner), and I know this sounds weird and stupid but I actually told her I have a twin brother. She seemed interested too, and the fib got me enjoying myself talking to her about how boy and girl twins work. I won't see her any more because she's moved away. I do have a brother but he is not a twin. But I do wish I had a real twin to tell people about. I just feel twins fascinate me. Just thought I'd like to share that.

There is an animated show called Gravity Falls that has a twin brother and sister. I haven't seen much of it, yet, but it seems very well liked. The idea of twins has always fascinated me. Maybe it's because I grew up with the Olsen twins. While I can imagine the potential identity issues there is also a chance to be very close and able to understand each other well.
A relative of mine once said that if she said something she wouldn't erase it because she must have a good reason to say it. If you told this woman you had a twin brother then it was likely important for you to do that. Whether simply because it's a special interest that you wanted to discuss or you wanted to experience what it'd be like to be a twin. To have someone think you're a twin and talk about it with them. That is not stupid or weird.
