If you call yourself Canadian (or are loyal to any government), or even say your from Toronto (or any major center) you are already acknowledging your lack of ownership of self, and possession by that corporation. By doing so you confirm that our "confidence" based economies own us. So you are no more than a victim of slaughter, or have committed slaughter than any other animal or living being. Why is it that when an animal is killed for food is it a corruption of lively hood? Or when we cultivate a field, its not seen as a massacre. Do you know what an Omnivore is? Or a Carnivore. If these animals stopped there lively hood they would no longer exist. What aboot the mold, bacteria, and parasites you breath in every day? Just because a plant can't run or frolic, doesn't mean that it is not alive. There is a vast genetic manipulation and dilution of plant life, just to serve our nutritional needs. How is that any better? I am all for "animal rights", or for that matter the "right to live" or the "right to die". Why is death always a shame, when it is inevitable. When death occurs is there not still lifeforms thriving? Every time I go to work, I am a victim social abuse. I end up upholding everything I am disappointed in.
The only activism that will be effective is to abolish the Monetary system. A positive solution may be to - Go to work with a positive attitude, earn credibility - respect others ? use only what you need - luxuries reduce credibility - earn more credibility by helping others for example those who have disabilities (but not just only) help everyone - be considerate of others - there is no such thing as "Necessary Evils" ? Greed will be seen as the disease that it is - do not manipulate - be transparent - acknowledge no higher authority, own yourself. If up held everything can be made free, and liberty for all. (This is still lacking so many positive aspects). I do not wish to "Rant" just enlighten. Please do as our mothers told us ?If you don't have anything Nice, to say don't say anything at all?. I value your opinion.
