Afraid? not really. Unable to stop making pointless posts and get some sleep? Yes.

Yes, mostly because I've been too frustrated or upset.

Yes awfully. I was afraid of midnight, when I was a child, because I thought one might die at midnight. So I always waited midnight before allowing myself to sleep.

My situation has more to do with anger though, but that is all going to change in the near future because as much as I love my mother, it seems that we don't get along. I have hired a new live-in roommate to live with me, and I think I will get along with him very well.

So, I think everything will be fine.

I think one time did when I was really drunk and I feared I would choke on my own vomit.

I was afraid of going to sleep as a kid. I kept having nightmares all the time, at least three times a week. The only reason why I fell asleep is from pure boredom from lying awake in bed. And when I actually fell asleep, guess what happened? I had another nightmare. The nightmares disappeared almost completely when I turned 8 or 9. They still resurface from time to time, but no more than once every few weeks, if at all.

That happened to me once (that I was scared I'd vomit) so I layed on my stomach just in case.

I get scared a lot at night because I'm afraid of aliens.

I am always afraid to go to sleep. I feel like I have to stay awake to be on the alert.

Sometimes I would be afraid to fall asleep. Not so much because of nightmares, but because of nightmarish thoughts that would come into my head before I had a chance to fall asleep.

I had a fear of the dark for a long time, although, ironically, I cannot now sleep unless it is almost totally dark.

I had nightmares a lot as a child...bad ones..and couldn't sleep in any small, enclosed spaces.
I feared ghosts.
I used to have to take cold relief every night to sleep as I just couldn't stop my thoughts flooding my brain.

If I suffer from a bout of insomnia and find that it's 5 in the morning on a weeknight I am afraid to go to sleep because I might sleep in and miss class.
