This is supposed to be somewhat analytical, and at the same time, somewhat random, so apologies if you don't get it. But then again, such is what happens when I write this at 4am my time....
----
I love humor. But I think comedy has different styles to it. So.... here I go?

HOW FUNNY IS IT?
Seinfeld funny: Jokes about everyday life.
Jay Leno's Headlines funny: Unintentional humor.
Whose Line Is It Anyway funny: Improvisational humor.

Any others you want to add? Have at it.

I never thought I'd see "Jay Leno" and "humour" on the same line.

I was referring to a particular segment on his show.

I gathered that, I'm just surprised there's a segment on his show others would consider humorous.

I should add that Morbid, Ironic and Deadpan are my favourite types of humour.

I like cynical and pessimistic humor the best. Nothing like laughing at another's misfortunes!

I like teasing, sarcastic, and my friends all tell me I'm the king of deadpan delivery. Some slight innuendo is fine for me, and I also enjoy dark humour, although I try not to use it among the easily offended.

I love Ironic and Deadpan, too. Not so much morbid, but I appreciate it enough.

And what style would this statement be classified as?

Sarcasm?

Hyperbole?

Certainly biting.

On my worst days, I'm the kind of guy that would crack jokes about 9/11, serial killers, the Holocaust, and Jerry Sandusky. On better days, I'm Andrew Dice Clay. OH! *wraps arm around head, smokes cig*

I enjoy situational, dark, and crude comedy. A few of my favorite shows are curb your enthusiasm, peep show, and the league of gentlemen. Just to give a better idea on my tastes.
