I was fascinated to find an article that has this dress that people see in different colors. Some people see it as blue and black and others see it as white and gold. There's no explanation as to why people see it differently. I see it as white and gold but apparently I'm wrong. What color do you see?

You see white and gold.

I see a picture taken with a digital camera by someone who doesn't understand one of the most fundamental rules of photography, namely that your subject must be well lit.

The camera is automatic, and because the background is the only part of the image that has resonable lighting, it considers that part of the image to be 'correct', and selects a level of exposure to match it. As a result the foreground is extremely overexposed, and the washed out colors in the picture are completely unrepresentative of what is in the actual scene.

Anyone can say what color the picture is.

To say what color the item in the picture is, you have to understand the technology used to produce said picture.

We need to do some heavy scientific research on why people think this is a screaming enormous deal. But I guess no one will do that kind of research, because that would require intelligence and the entire human race has officially turned into one big screaming, slobbering IDIOT.

That's it. We're devolving. In a few more years most human adults will no longer be able to speak complete sentences or walk without scraping their knuckles along the ground, and the "lowly" creatures like rats and cockroaches will take over. Hopefully they'll do a much better job at running a planet. Ugh!

Oh no, I just made a grunting sound. I'm turning into one of THEM!! 8O
