You missed the whole point. Whether you think you can or, or think you can't, either way you're right. The law of attraction (which is verified by quantum physics) always matches your reality to your vibration. So if you believe "I can't have anything I want," then that's the vibration you're putting out, and the law of attraction is bringing you more of that (circumstances and events that prove to you that that's true).

The vibration you are putting out to get what you want (to convince me) is clearly not working.

I guess you will have to keep practicing until you get the frequency right.
