I lied. I chose the title to get you attention. This thread will not be about cats, it will be about wolves. Ever seen one in the woods?

Sylkat, I am looking at you.

Ooh, bait and switch :D

I've never seen one, but I've heard a pack howling.

No wolves here, but a lot of coyotes, foxes, and fisher cats.

None in the woods next to our garden but there is a theme park a short drive away where a guy lived with a pack of wolves for three years.

I've been to get-togethers with a bunch of people who had wolf hybrids, and I've been to every wolf-dog sanctuary I can find...

...but I've never seen or heard a real actual wolf in the real actual wild. Coyotes, foxes, coywolves, and feral dogs, but no wolves.

No. Haven't seen a wolf before except on television.

They've been banished from Britain.

Nope, no wolves here. However, I live in an area where coyotes are common, especially at night.

I feel betrayed.

I clicked to talk about evil creatures. And it's a thread about wolves.

Cats :D
No I haven't, a fox dashing across the road in front of my car is the closest experience I have to a wild wolf in the woods.

No wolves here either. We do have coyotes, and if you are quiet enough... you can even hear them at night. We live in a quiet neighborhood too, so it's not like we live in the bustling city.
