Just thought I would let that out onto the forum, lol. I love the music, the opening sequence, the drama, the settings, the GFs, the ability to draw magic...and Squall is a great character.

Best story.

Not too bad. Out of the PS1 FF's, I actually prefer IX, but VIII has some pretty good things, like a new magic system, and the GFs, oh, and Squall. An interesting, if a bit sullen, main character...

I think a lot of us can relate to Squall since he has some definite aspie traits in my opinion. He's the quiet loner who has a hard time relating to others at times.

Yep definitely, and somewhere in me there is a slight, mostly very well squashed, romantic streak and since ffviii does have an element of romance and epic to it... I love its opening cinematographic sequence. I have yet to try ix and x etc and I couldn't get into vi and vii yet.

I've played VII, VIII, IX and a bit of X.

I love VII.

Playing this as a teenager it made me endlessly wonder how Squall could fall for someone as utterly irritating as Rinoa was to me back then. It must have irked me quite a bit because this is about the only thing I remember of the game.

I can't wait until VIII comes in the mail...

Yes, from Final Fantasy, FFVIII is my favorite. I love the music, movie sequences, agic system, "draw" ability, GF's learning abilities, characters, and the story.

I continue listening to game soundtrack everyday while I'm walking from my house to school and back, and I'm not tired of the music.

And FFVIII is better than FFVII!
