Don't you just hate it when the subject line does not match the first post? I've noticed a few threads on WP where the subject line asks one question, and the first post asks another. Do you find that annoying, too? What color do you paint your toenails?

I can't remember the last time I saw something like you described, but it definitely would annoy me.

And I'm a nail-picking dermatillomaniac, so no polish for me.

be glad you don't have nail fungus, that would not be tasty for any nail chewer.

It's mostly just picking. I only bite the hangnails.

can't stand those, I gotta clip 'em off with nail clippers as soon as they pop up.

DD's best friend painted my toenails some pinkie orangey colour back in early November. I didn't own nail varnish remover and being winter wasn't too bothered by it as I rarely go bare-foot at that time of year so left it.
Forgot about me fungus toenail though which I normally keep under control by giving it a regular sandpaper and tea tree treatment.
When I did eventually removed the varnish the nail under it had turned black and last week half of it came off whilst cutting them 8O No worries though as a new nail has already grown under it

I use wire cutters, so much more user-friendly than nail clippers and just as effective at getting the job done :)

I have a pair of clippers that is convex rather than concave, it works as well as a wire cutter but is meant for flesh. :)

Every so often I go to this foot person who's got little spinning files and all sorts and she spends an hour doing my feet so all I got to do myself is cut my nails. Bought a professional nail clipper but can't seem to use it hence the wire cutter
