What do Hormel think of "SPAM" being used as slang...

...for unwanted advertisements or stupid, off-topic posts on the internet? Do you think it's given their foodstuff more publicity, or has it tarnished its (already somewhat questionable) reputation?

For the record, I like Spam, by which I mean the food product. It's good for sandwiches, especially when fried.

I have to admit, I have never eaten SPAM in my life. It just doesn't look very appetizing, to me.

And it even survived rumors that it was the real life version of Soylent Green!

So it will survive this as well prolly.

I almost never think of food when I hear or read the word spam.
