Anyone in Tennessee or Western NC?

I will be in that area first part of April. Would like to meet other Aspies in the area if anyone would like to meet up.

I am not from that area, but I went there on vacation 10 years ago. It was one of the most beautiful places I had ever been.

Shortly after going back home from that vacation, I developed an obsession with Tennessee that was on the same caliber as my current obsession with Idaho.

I heard Werbert was from Tennessee but no telling where that hick goes to college.

Werbert I escaped several yrs ago too, but I still have visiting privileges. If truth be told I just go back for the fishing and the biscuits and gravy.

I heard they pulled a 5 ft gator from Watts Bar this week. Would you mind loaning me your shotgun so I can go fishing?

If you are in the area Werbert would ya want to meet up for biscuits or something? I'm really fairly sane in real life. Nutbag seems to put up with me well so maybe she would give references.

Sorry Spacecase I'm soon to be 38 so I graduated highschool before you were even born. G_d I feel old. I'm not really looking for a date anyway just wanted to meet up for a ice cream or soda and freedom fries with any other Aspies that are in the area since I'm not in the Deep Dark South very often. I would just love to meet Werbert though and see the character in person. ... one of my WP idols, uhm never mind I said that ...don't want him getting the big head or we won't be able to put up with him.

I used to live in Tennessee, but I was one of the lucky ones. One night, I wrapped myself in a cloak, snuck up to the Clarksville border crossing, and made a mad dash through no-man's land. The border guards almost hit me, but my catlike agility allowed me to dodge the bullets. I am glad to be free of that oppressive regime.

Bazza! Would you hop a plane and hurry on over. Well once I get there too. We can go fishing together. I know how you like spearing crabs so you might like going after the local crawdads.

So Werbert you escaped over the border to KY? Even worse! Listen, meet me at the Knoxville airport and I'll sneak you in my luggage then turn you loose once we get to Grand Canyon.

Knoxville does not have an airport. Alcoa has an airport, and Knoxville just borrows it from time to time.

Well that is quite true. Though if you try to book a flight you have to request Knoxville or else get strange looks. I've always found it enjoyable though to try to explain Tenn NT politics to Westerners how the Knox airport is really in another town.

So Werbert are you a coal miner now or what?
