This is sort of a review, but it's also something that made me think of Jackie. The movie Live, Die, Repeat: Edge Of Tomorrow I had checked out from the library since it reminded me of one of the Christmas presents Jackie gave me, namely Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. I've thrown out everything that didn't remind me of Jackie or was something that absorbed my time away from her, such as most of my science fiction books and any books that I haven't read with Jackie. I got rid of the PS3 also, gave it to the waiter at Perkins on April 7th when I was served divorce papers and I was going to jump of a bridge that night after buying a soda and finally being able to talk to someone in real life. The waiter there used to talk with Jackie and I all the time, so it was nice to have a sort of friend to talk to in person. Don't worry Jackie I didn't complain about you, I've never complained about you in person amongst our mutual friends. I only have complained anonymously and with people you don't talk with and wouldn't affect you and I've never said anything more than I've said in front of you with our marriage counselor. I'm not defending my complaining about you, I was wrong, but I've not sought to damage relationships and cause people to shun you and treat you like trash - that would actually be slander rather than merely venting. Anyway though, this movie made me think of the gift you gave me for Christmas.

One thing I found somewhat funny is that Bill Paxton played a major character in a movie that resembles a video game. He was the actor who played Hudson in Aliens and his ad lib line of "Game over, man, game over!" made sense here. Although really this movie is played like most FPS games are played, restarting until won. Some have Ironman modes, but mostly it's by checkpoints and if you get stopped you just go back and play through it until you win. That sort of actually reminded me of how my dad and I used to play chess, being allowed to take back any number of moves so long as we both remembered and agreed that was where we were.

Anyway, this movie was pretty good and I love my wife Jackie.
