How long can you use 1 year eye contacts??
How long can I use my one year eye contacts? Because I want to wear them for a one time after they got expired, I don't which brand or quality they're but they're cosplay/anime eye contacts, so how long after expiring can I use them?? I only wore them one time months ago if that counts.
That's hard to say, I guess. I wear my contacts way past their expiration date and I know I'm not supposed to because they/re only good for 30 days. That tends to be my nature anyway. I only had one pair of pants and I wore them for 8 years until they fell apart. The pair I bought 3 months ago will last me for 8 years, I hope, I only keep one pair of pants at a time. Same for sneakers.

Some people kept saying that wearing expired contacts is dangerous, but some people say its fine if its not for a long time- I will only be wearing them for a few hours and if my eyes start hurting or something I guess I'd remove them. But still scared about because I love my eyesight hahha, wanted to make sure about it.
I have heard about a case where a girl (my then classmate's cousin) has gone blind in one eye because she didn't use her contact lenses properly. I don't know exactly how she was using her contact lenses to make that happen. Her blindness was caused by some contact-lens-related eye infection.
So, I would be very careful with contact lenses, although many people seem to use expired contact lenses without any problem. If you can, you should avoid using expired contact lenses.

I kinda need to lol. I heard about people getting blind from it but maybe its because they wear it for a very long time but I'm only going to wear it for a few hours.
Someone I know keeps wearing expired eye contacts and nothing happens, that person doesn't even really take care of the contacts lol, maybe it would damage your eye a little if you did for so many times only. Also if my eyes started to burn or feel weird or got red I would remove the contacts right away.
Well, most likely you won't have any problem. But if you do, the consequences can be very severe.
I think old contact lenses can more easily harbor microorganisms and you probably need to expose your eyes to those organisms just once to get the infection. I think in the case that I mentioned above she got some ameba from the lens, which kept eating her eye until she became blind.
So, if you keep using the expired lenses, you had better be extra careful with their hygiene.

Does it feel anything in the eyes once you got the infection?? And if so can a doctor take it or is there some eye drops which would kill those bacteria??
I'm only going to use this time, might throw it after using it.
Yes, she actually had some symptoms serious enough to prompt her to see her GP (I don't know exactly what symptoms). However, the GP was incompetent and decided it was nothing serious, leaving the infection not properly treated for too long. That's why the ameba infection got bad enough to cause blindness. My classmate told me it could have been treated, if she had been sent to a specialist and got a proper diagnosis. They were even talking about suing the doctor.
Any way, so, if you get the infection, you would definitely notice something wrong.

Ok thank you
